Tahini and Honey Granola
INGREDIENTS
400g oats
150g almonds
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1 small pinch of ground cloves
100g white sesame seeds
150g melted/warm honey
100g tahini paste
40g light olive oil
2 egg whites
METHOD
Preheat your oven to 150C fan.
Mix all the dry ingredients together in a large bowl.
Add wet ingredients, excluding the egg whites and mix well.
Whisk egg whites until foamy and fold in with the mixture until well combined.
On a baking tray lined with baking paper, spread the granola around the sides of the tray making a hole in the centre.
Bake in the middle or lower oven rack for 45-50 minutes without stirring until golden then turn your oven off, leave your granola in the oven with the oven door slightly open until your granola cools.
Once cooled, break into your desired-sized clusters.
