Mini Filo Christmas Nibblies with Whipped Anari, Honey, Walnuts and Thyme
Light, crisp filo cups filled with creamy anari, honey and lemon. A little sweet, a little fragrant, and perfect for a Christmas table that feels homemade, simple and special.
Ingredients
Method
- Preheat your oven to 180C fan. Stack the filo sheets and cut into 24 squares.
- Grease a mini muffin tin with melted butter.
- For each mould, use 4 filo squares. Brush the first with butter and place it in the tin. Brush the second, place it on top at an angle. Repeat with the remaining two so the corners sit like a star.
- Press gently into the mould. Repeat with all the squares.
- Bake for 10 to 12 minutes, until crisp and golden.
- Beat the anari with lemon zest, honey and salt until smooth.
- When the filo cups have cooled, fill each one with a spoon of the anari mixture. Add walnuts and finish with a sprig of thyme.
